Instagram is now looking to become a full-fledged communication platform as it will have a video calling feature in the near future. Instagram is planning to debut a video calling feature and internally it is working on the development of the same.

The video calling should start by tapping on the camera icon, that is seen on the Instagram Direct chat. As of now, there is no more knowledge on exactly what other features this video calling feature will have. You might soon be able to make video calls to friends via Instagram, putting the photo-sharing network in competition with Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp.

According to information leaked by WABetaInfo, the new feature is currently in development and won't be released for a few months. Once it's rolled out, you'll be able to start a video call with any Instagram user who's accepted an active chat invitation. The feature is expected to be released for both iOS and Android.

Instagram is yet to make this option official since it is only in the testing phase. And while it is in the testing phase, it must be noted that the typewriter font makes the text very small which also lets you type more. Maybe it can work upon the size of the text option depending on the font of the text.

WhatsApp has finally launched its long-awaited app for small businesses across the world, ‘WhatsApp Business’. This new app is aiming to separate the personal and the business lives of people who had long wished to separate their business conversations from the personal ones on WhatsApp.

The new features include ‘Business Profiles’, ‘Messaging Tools’, ‘Messaging Statistics’, ‘WhatsApp Web’ and ‘Account Type’.

Business Profiles- It will help customers to get additional information such as the email or the store address, website or any extra description of the business.

Messaging Tools - It allows business owners to set quick replies to ensure that they can quickly send answers to FAQs in addition to greeting messages that introduce customers to their business or custom away messages when the owners are busy or during off hours.

Messaging Statistics-  It will provide business owners with a simple metric about the number of messages that were read so that they can tweak the content of quick replies or their strategy of contacting their customers.

WhatsApp Web-  In this the regular web interface of ‘WhatsApp Business’ allowing owners to send or receive messages using a desktop.

Account Type- One of the most important parts here is the fact that business owners can list themselves as businesses after installing the app to ensure that the customers contacting them know that they are business owners. WhatsApp pointed out that over the time business accounts will get ‘confirmed accounts’ after it is confirmed that the operator of the WhatsApp Business account is using the same number as the actual business contact number.

The company clarified that normal users can continue to use WhatsApp without change and there is no need to download anything new. Users have full control on the messages that they receive as they can block any number including the messages coming from a business account. Users can also report the messages from Business accounts as spam.

As research says, 80 percent of small business in India and Brazil stated that WhatsApp Business App helps them to get in touch with their customers, as well as grow their business. This app is gradually rolling out to more countries in coming weeks.
